ABOUT THE DONNING COMPANY PUBLISHERS
The Donning Company Publishers began in the mid-1970's when the company's founders published a pictorial history of their hometown. The volume was an immediate success.

In the following years, we at Donning would bring our award-winning "Portraits of America" series to cities, countries, states, and regions from Alaska to Florida, Maine to Hawaii. Then, using our innovative marketing techniques, we expanded our original "Portraits" concept to include historical and contemporary volumes on colleges and universities, businesses and associations, golf and country clubs and multicultural heritage.
Today, the Donning Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a major Midwestern book manufacturer with state-of-the-art printing and binding facilities. Throughout our history, Donning has been the honored recipient of many local and national awards for historic preservation and excellence in graphic design.
