This book is my work of non-fiction. I read each section upon completion to my husband, Phil, grateful for his response, “That is how it happened.” I wrote this book carefully without interpretation of the actual events that occurred, a biography of a section of our son’s life. As Dustin would have said, “It happened.”
The author highly recommends that parents/caregivers always be proactive in managing their children’s/loved one’s illness, but always follow the advice of trusted professionals.
