David Pemberton has created an eloquent portrait of how he achieved the American Dream, overlaid against the backdrop of modern history.  Let Me Tell You documents his experiences and his insights illustrate how the culture has evolved to its current state.  Moreover, Mr. Pemberton’s story has an “everyman” quality and his honesty, courage, and faith in human nature engender a poignancy that touches that hidden place in the soul that is often forgotten: pure human decency.  Mr. Pemberton wrote this memoir to inspire hope in his grandchildren and their generation who are often left feeling apathetic, at best.

Mr. Pemberton obtained his Bachelor’s and Law degrees on full scholarship to The Ohio State University through the Evans Scholars.  He has had long and successful legal, political, and business careers.  Mr. Pemberton has been married for fifty-four years and is the proud grandfather of six.
